Who We Are
EAGLES Homeschool Group is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Homeschool group which seeks to support families as they educate their children at home. We believe that together is better, and we strive to create a community of unity. Whether you are new to homeschooling, a seasoned pro, or just curious about what homeschooling is all about, we would love to offer support and join you on this journey. You are not alone!
We are open to families who are homeschooling at least one child who is age 5 or older as of September 1st of the current program year, as defined by Nevada state statute found here: NRS 388D.010-070.
The parents in these families fully provide & direct the education of their child(ren), including advancement and graduation.
Our members know that many hands make light work, so every family is asked to prayerfully consider how they can contribute to the group. Your unique gifts and talents are valuable, and we would love to have you share them with us!
In order to best serve our families, our events are categorized by age group: Elementary (ages 5-10), Tweens (ages 11-13), & Teens (ages 14-18). We strive to have at least one FREE or low cost event each month for each age group.
We offer the following:
Weekly PE classes - Held at area parks for an additional fee. PE rotates through various sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and kickball. The children are split into age groups from pre-school through high school.
Co-op Classes: Mondays at 1 pm, 2 pm, & 3 pm - Our Co-op classes are offered at an additional cost and require a volunteer commitment from parents. We offer two, 8-9 week-long semesters, with a showcase day. Our class offerings are based on what our parent-teachers are willing to teach. We are always looking for new teachers with fresh class ideas.
Holiday Parties - we offer Christmas & Valentine's Day parties for all ages!
